Earthmoving Machinery
All excavation projects are unique and have differing requirements when it comes to the best equipment to use. Alans Contracting Dunedin brings flexibility when working on both small and large excavation projects. We are just as at home working on a large farm block as we are operating within the tight constraints of urban life. In earthmoving the availability and selection of correctly sized equipment is critical in order to minimise cost and completing a job quickly.
Our 8 ton Caterpillar digger is well suited to larger projects such as farm road construction, site clearance and house foundations. While our smaller 2 ton Caterpillar digger is perfect for landscaping projects or where site access in a city environment might be constrained.
Complementing our diggers are our two tip trucks. Our 20 ton Hino 6x4 is a good fit for when large amounts of soil need moving or the delivery of gravel/rock is required. Often matched with our smaller Catapillar is our Isuzu 6 ton tip truck which with its dual rear/side tipping capability it is perfect for smaller jobs or where access is difficult for a larger vehicle.
