Health and Safety is sometimes viewed as a necessary evil but at Alans Contracting we know when it comes to earthmoving and construction there are no corners to cut or short cuts taken when it comes to the safety of everyone on the work site. Our health and safety policies exceed the legal minimum standard.

However with earthmoving there is always a level of managed uncertainty – you can never fully know until you start digging what lies beneath and should the unforeseen happen we have public liability cover to a level of $2,000,000.

We are registered on the DCC Approved/Preferred Contractors List and therefore are certified and trusted by the Dunedin City Council to work on council projects and council owned assets.
